Jelena is a designer and artist from Belgrade, Serbia. She recently received her MFA in Scenic Design at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville and previously earned a BA in Theatre and Film Scenography at The Faculty of Applied Arts at Belgrade University. In the Graduate Scenic Design Competition at SETC she received second place in 2017 and 2019 for Top Girls and King Charles III. She also exhibited her work at The Young Designer’s Forum at USITT 2019. Her undergraduate work has been honored with two awards – the ULUPUDS (The Association of Artists and Designers in Serbia) award and Milenko Serban award for The Meeting Point. She was a Group Leader Volunteer at BITEF2013.
